Australian Softbill Online Database

The Australian Softbill Online Database is an ongoing project to bring together as much available information as possible on the captive husbandry of Australian softbill species and foreign softbills kept in Australia. It will comprise original articles, archived scanned articles from magazines and husbandry manuals. Whilst I will endeavour to include as many Australian articles as possible, often useful information can be obtained from international articles or articles on similar exotic species.

I would like to thank those aviculturists that have assisted with information and articles, particularly Paul Dick (Just Finches and Softbills Magazine) , Bradley Holland (Native Pigeons and Softbill Club) and Graeme Phipps (Richmond TAFE Animal Husbandry).

A wide range of  avicultural and bird rehabilitation equipment as described in the articles can be purchased at The AVI-SHOP
